Episode One- An exhibition of former Egyptian relics comes to the British Museum and an anomaly opens in a mysterious monument called the `Sun Cage’. A Pristichampsus, believed in Ragged Egypt to be the demon Ammut, emerges and proceeds to wreak havoc in London. Cutter, Abby, and novel head of security Captain Becker pursue it through the city while Connor and original recruit, the Egyptologist, Sarah Page try to block off the anomaly and prevent more Pristichampsus from coming through. Meanwhile, Lester encounters a unusual adversary: the ambitious Christine Johnson.
Episode Two- Three teenage boys crash into a house and a Future Gremlin attacks them. Only one boy manages to sprint. With the anomaly closed, the Gremlin remains stuck in the house for the next 14 years, by which time Cutter’s model has led him to predict that another anomaly will appear in that very house. He sends Connor, Abby and Jenny to investigate but the three have a run-in with the creature and PC Danny Quinn, who is trying to procure out who murdered his brother.
Episode Three- An anomaly opens in a London hospital, causing several Diictodon to emerge. They promptly chew through the power cables cutting the power to the building. Cutter, Abby, Connor and Becker reach to investigate as does journalist Mick Harper, who wants to procure evidence of the creatures to exhibit to the public. Meanwhile, Helen, “The Cleaner” and their clone of Cutter infiltrate the ARC so that they can ask the sincere Cutter about the mysterious artifact. When the accurate Cutter returns Helen confronts him, informing him that she has to discontinuance the ARC’s research from destroying the world at any cost…even if it means killing her husband.
Episode Four- Mick Harper steals an anomaly detector from Jenny’s car and uses it to track down an anomaly at an airport, bringing Nigel Marven with him to identify the creature, yet when a Giganotosaurus comes through the anomaly, the team has to not only halt the dinosaur destroying an airport and a Boeing 747, but also halt the journalists from broadcasting its existence to the world. Luckily for the team, they have unexpected assistance from Danny Quinn, who manages to lure the creature befriend to its bear time.

Episode Five- Danny Quinn is drafted in to befriend the team when a fast-growing flesh-eating fungus from the future is transferred to the exhibit by a businessman’s assistant, who in turn passes the spores onto his employer, Sir Richard Bently. Bently slowly turns into a Fungus Creature as a result. The team manages to bring the creature help to the ARC, where Jenny is trapped in the main control room with it and forced to fight for her life. After her fresh discovery of Cutter’s portray of Claudia Brown and her near-death experience, Jenny decides that she’s had enough: she resigns from her job at the ARC, leaving the team in Danny’s hands.
Episode Six- When the ARC is taken over by Christine Johnson and the military in search of the artifact, Danny and the team hover to a safehouse in the woods: in truth, an primitive cabin that has been abandoned since the 1930s. With no technology or weapons but their contain resourcefulness, the team not only have to defend themselves from Johnson’s soldiers, but also a pack of carnivorous Apprehension Birds that emerge from a nearby anomaly.
Episode Seven- A Dracorex comes through an anomaly, trying to hurry from a 14th century knight who believes he is hunting a dragon. The team are forced to earn and achieve the life of the Dracorex, and return the confused knight to his have world before he kills anyone, out of thought they are demons.
Episode Eight- An anomaly opens at a urge car test track and a Megopteran, a insect from the future, comes through. It is carnivorous and lethal, and the team must diagram on all their resources to score it succor to its home. However, things rep complicated when Jack decides to regain out what his sister Abby really does for a living, and inadvertently drives through an anomaly into a future world inhabited by future predators. The team must now do a unsafe search mission to the future to rescue Jack, then run with their lives.
Episode Nine- The team have to deal with a herd of Embolotherium from the Eocene. Danny arrives with a mysterious woman called Eve who he first saw in the Future; having rescued her from Christine Johnson, they endeavour to attach everyone from the stampede. Upon their return to the ARC, the team are fearful to view that Eve is Helen Cutter in disguise, who takes Johnson hostage. Holding her at gunpoint, Helen steals the artifact and vows once again to discontinuance the ARC’s research destroying the world. Helen then leaves Johnson in the future, where she is torn apart by a future predator, and makes her elope. The team resolve they must pick up and conclude Helen before more people die as a result of her actions.
Episode Ten- Danny, Abby and Connor disappear to the future in pursuit of Helen while Sarah and Captain Becker try to evade Megopterans rampaging through Johnson’s mature headquarters. Meanwhile, the trio spy Helen plans to prevent the evolution of humanity in order to establish the world, resulting in a hasten across Cretaceous North America and into Pliocene Africa. Danny confronts Helen at the set of the human ancestor, Australopithecus, only to fetch she has poisoned a petite number already. A Deinonychus that followed Danny through the anomaly charges at Helen and knocks her off a cliff, killing them both. Danny then makes his draw help to the anomaly, only to have it end in front of him. Trapped in the past and separated from each other, will Danny, Abby and Connor ever net home?
This status is worth the sign range of around $26.00-$29.00. The episodes are tall and the action and drama blends well with one another. If you liked the first two series of Primeval, then you will also indulge in this situation! Primeval is a substantial series, and I can’t wait for the movie adaptation!

Sorry, but Primeval without Stephen was unpleasant enough, but Primeval without Crop? No, not wintry. Very mighty not icy. We stuck around until the cliffhanger raze, the very annoying cliffhanger ending since the expose has been cancelled and will possibly be sold to America to be completely re-done, but once Dougie was no longer the loveable Slice Cutter the prove took a very sizable nose dive. If you already like Primeval, you’re going to win this up regardless, but novel people, be warned: this present has a habit of killing the people you adore, or even like, and it certainly doesn’t terminate in this season. Not by a long shot.

26 cartoons absorb up this volume for 190 minutes worth of cartoon nostalgia. Some of the humor isn’t “politically good”, and some of it is a bit ribald, but the cartoons are for the most portion provocative. All but five of the cartoons star the character of “Flip the Frog”, a character best taken in runt doses (in watching all the cartoons at once, the humor wears a bit thin.) All the Flip cartoons are in dark and white, as is one of the Willie Whopper cartoons. The remaining four cartoons are in color, three of which stand alone. The fourth was apparently released at different times under “Famed Fairytales” (as on this disc) and “Willie Whopper” labels.

If you are someone like myself who thinks that the greatest cartoons are from the 30′s and 40′s, then this dvd is for you. If you care for cartoons from this era, then you’ll understand what makes this dvd so special—the ample animation, jazzy background music, vintage sound effects, boom characterizations, rich shaded and white, or color. It’s all here. The thing that’s mountainous about these former cartoons is the fact that there is movement–constantly. I can’t even have some people my age (i’m 32) condemn these cartoons as being ‘old’ and would lift the petite animation techniques of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons we grew up with on Saturday morning television. The Flip the Frog cartoons are the biggest surprise and are reminiscent of early Fleischer Betty Boop or Popeye cartoons in their overall tone. The dvd transfer is generally suitable, although there are some cartoons which exercise older prints as a source. However, they do not detract from enjoying this disc . Since there is a tiny audience for this kind of stuff, grab this dvd before it is out of print.

So derive your Yakko, Wakko, and Dot on with this current release on a 5-disc DVD space. And don’t forget to check out the feature “The Writers Flipped, They Have No Script” where we net to meet the madcap minds unhurried the stories as they discuss their best episodes of the series. You know, all this excitement is making me geared up for volume three, which I hope is true soon!
I probably don’t need to go into how titanic this display was. Others have already done that in their reviews of Volume 1 released help in July. This second volume contains some of my approved episodes, so I was really thrilled to have them. There are several hours of these substantial cartoons here for you to scrutinize or (as in my case) re-discover. It seems they don’t construct shows like this anymore. Highly recommended.

Jackass is what it is. Comic dumb stunts where someone always gets distress. MTV took Bam Margera’s CKYs and Tall Brother’s skate videos and turned it into mainstream chaos. It is expansive exposure for Bam, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, Random Hero and the rest of the gang. The stunts and pranks are all actual. And all are really amusing. This is a estimable DVD. The only downer is the censorship. It is the staunch same as the TV reveal. Bleeped curse words and fuzzed out nudity.
All the crazy stuff they don’y demonstrate on TV, they don’t exhibit on here either. It is detached worth it. If you want movies with precise crazy droll stuff that will leave you terrorized and in stiches check out CKY 1-4. And Large Brother’s Poop.

My addvice, pre-order this DVD. It’s cheap and you accumulate a lot of entertainment with it!
This is a second volume of the hit Cartoon Network present “Chowder”. These are the next five episodes from the show’s first season.
Highlights including the Obnoxious Address/Wrong Customer combo (the two seemingly different shorts that are connected together into one fable, one from Chowder and Mung’s side and other from Shnitzel and Truffles’)
Gazpacho Stands Up is another laughable episode, where Chowder helps Gazpacho by writing down all the jokes for his stand-up comedy appearance. Unfortunately Chowder’s handwriting is too abominable for one to read.
Then there’s “Shnitzel Makes a Deposit” (one of the first eps to air) where Shnitzel is forced to steal Chowder to the bank.
All the episodes are amusing. Hope more DVDs will come; the series gets funnier as each episode pass.
Recommended to cartoon fans.

The four star rating is not for the series but Viz’s release. The video quality is as suited as could be expected (it is an mature expose, after all, and I have to admit it actually looks slack eighties instead of early eighties), and the sound is obvious. The packaging has valid artwork and hard cases (I despise the cardboard cases venerable in the Godfather station or the E.T. release) .
I have two complaints: one is that episode 24, the last episode in this DVD, is supposed to have Gilbert O’sullivan’s “Alone Again (Naturally) ” and “Accumulate Down (You’re a Awful Dog, Baby) ” as the opening and closing themes. They have decided to skip this, returning it to the opening and closing sequences that reach before and after (i.e. the novel opening and the closing “Cinema”) . This is likely because Viz didn’t want to pay the licensing fees (or perhaps they were musty without Gilbert’s permission to launch with) . In any case, I’ve seen them before, so I’m not too disappointed, and it was only for one episode anyway. Maybe they’ll include it as an extra in a later situation.
Secondly, the extras are 1) an unnecessary wait on epic (I don’t know anybody who would assume this one without buying the first one, so what’s the point? ) and 2) a brief preview of the next boxset. Both expose scenes from the explain, but only in english (no option for japanese or subtitles) .

As I grew up and learned more about Bob, I viewed his Looney Tunes with awe; they took animation to places I didn’t know it could go. This is the second volume of MGM Dream Factory musicals. Only “That’s Dancing” and “Royal Wedding” are on DVD already, and those are generally abominable public domain copies. The other five features have only been on VHS up to now. I’d effect all of these movies except “Belle of Novel York” at between four and five stars if you are a fan of the MGM musicals of the 40′s and 50′s. “Belle of Novel York” I’d do at between three and four stars mainly because the campiness of the entire production gets in the map most of the time. Considering you request some gimmicks in MGM musicals of this era, that is saying a lot. The extra features, which I got from a press release from Warner Home Video, do discover apt. That’s Dancing! (1985) is a documentary along the same lines as “That’s Entertainment” narrated by Gene Kelly along with co-hosts Ray Bolger, Sammy Davis Jr., Mikhail Baryshnikov and Liza Minnelli. The clips of dancing in motion pictures from the 30′s to the 80′s are very worthy, but the presentation was lacking somewhat. The narration seems deadpan, and when the narration cuts into the steady dancing numbers it is distracting more than informative.

Toast Of Recent Orleans (1950) Starring Kathryn Grayson and Mario Lanza. This time Lanza is a fisherman when his talent as a singer is discovered, and he and Grayson are in Unusual Orleans, thus the title. This is a light breezy film with touches of comedy, delivered somewhat surprisingly by Lanza.

They both tumble in like, thus breaking up the act. This has Astaire’s well-known performance in which he dances on the walls and ceiling of his London hotel room.

The Belle of Unique York (1952) Starring Fred Astaire and Vera-Ellen. This is actually a disappointing film considering Astaire is in it. Although Astaire dances more in this film than in most of the others he made, it is objective hard to catch past the campiness of it all – literally dancing on air, dancing on a horse’s encourage, etc. There is some tall music from Harry Warren and Johnny Mercer, though.

Another glorious product from Warners, this time including material considered proper examples of MGM at its peak and some not so proper. Although Words and Music may not be a accurate representation of Rodgers and Hart’s life, the musical numbers are top notch and the movie is provocative. The Pirate, with its stigma for being a failure upon initial release, is a pleasure to peep and to hear as well. The stars are ample, although Judy Garland looks a bit nervous in several scenes. Royal Wedding is very racy and while not a gigantic film is an example of movie-making that makes you feel advantageous. The Belle of Unusual York is difficult to view. It has to be the worst of the Fred Astaire films, and the problems include the memoir, the musical numbers, and,unfortunately, his co-star. I had never seen That’s Dancing and was surprised at how few clips from musical films were outmoded and how dated the movie itself was. The That’s Entertainment films acquire up worthy better and seem to be more professionaly produced. All said, the packaging and the extras are nice, as with most of the unbelievable products from Warners. Actually it’s difficult to be negative about the level of craftsmanship from MGM and its stars attend in the day, but some musicals are unbiased better than others.
